Uzungöl is the most beautiful tourist place of Trabzon. Uzungöl is also the name of the village on the shore of the lake. The lake is completely surrounded by forests. When you see the view of the lake, you will understand why this is the subject of the postcard.

Transportation from Trabzon to Uzungöl (99km) takes approximately 1.5 hours with your own vehicle. The journey between Çaykara and Uzungöl takes about 22 minutes by car.

When you pass Trabzon and arrive at the town of Of, turn back to Çaykara. In the summer, you will encounter a visual feast along this road.

There are many lakes and plateaus in various sizes in the mountains around Uzungöl. You should definitely visit the most famous of these, Yedigöller. Located in a valley between high rising mountains, the lake and village offer a wonderful view.

The most famous highlands of the region are Garester and Haldizen, located at an altitude of 2000-3000 meters above sea level. They are located in the valleys of the same name and other highlands to see are along with the Meze, Maura and Haya plateaus.

The Black Sea has a rich culture. Kolbastı is a famous local dance in Uzungöl as well as in Trabzon. Folk dance is very popular in the Black Sea region. For example, Horon is a famous dance unique to the city of Trabzon and its surroundings. It is made by men, women, youth and the elderly for festive and harvest purposes for entertainment purposes.
